Koch Specialty Plant Services LLC (KSPS) is seeking a self-driven and highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to lead Business Development specific to Asset Integrity Management Services. This role will be located at our Houston, TX office.

Summary:

The ideal candidate shall have primary strategic responsibility for business development related to NDT, and Inspection services and shall also have a good technical understanding of the Refining, Pipeline, Petrochemical, and other industries that require AIM services. The Technical Sales Representative will work closely with the Director of Asset Integrity Management Services, to achieve the primary objectives. Using MBM® and The Guiding Principles, the successful candidate will endeavor to create measurable and sustainable value for the Company and ensure that sales and business development efforts support the Company’s overall strategy and goals. Pricing Strategies and Process Development are also components of this role that will be essential, along with effective presentation skills.

Education, Work Experience & Skills Required:



Experience building and developing working relationships with customers
Good organizational skills
Experience demonstrating effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience and/or background in Mechanical Integrity, Risk Based Inspection, and Advanced NDT modalities
Critical thinking skills with an emphasis on value creation
Ability to travel up to 50+% including overnight
Education, Work Experience & Skills Preferred:

Degree in Business or related field
5+ years’ experience in Inspection/Non-destructive Testing fields, in refining, pipeline, and chemical/petrochemical industry, specific to technical sales
Established relationships in refining, pipeline, chemical or petrochemical industry
Experience and/or background in Project Management
Knowledge of NDT/Inspection/Risk Based Inspection in refinery/chemical plants
Knowledge of plant turnaround Mechanical Integrity planning/execution
Physical Work Demands/Unusual Work Conditions:

Able to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to travel up to 50+% including overnight
Evident Ultrasonic Inspection Equipment
