The Service Line Operations Manager is responsible for driving sales and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of NDE strategies in both a safe environment and in compliance with company quality standards, policies, procedures, and expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all operations for the service line for the USA; this includes working with the Service Line Director, Operational Managers, and other personnel to deliver the annual service line budget. . Manage and oversee all operational managers ensuring that local service line delivery is on time, meets quality requirements and safely executed per the customer and the company's expectations.
* Determine operational requirements including resources needed, training required, project scope and schedule; define and establish operational priorities; and achieve financial objectives for the service line.
* Manage and monitor local office / branch service line performance ensuring financial, safety, quality and customer objectives are in line with the established branch /service line initiatives; initiate correct actions working with HSE, Quality, and other Departmetns as required.
* Review and monitor spending by tracking labor efficiency, costs, and other related items that impact profitability; initiate correct actions as required.
* Review and forecast P&L monthly with the Service Line Director as it relates to the assigned branches within the service line.
* Ensure operational excellence for the local offices / branches of the service line by measuring key performance indicators such as client satisfaction, utilization and company goals.
* Provide technical support and knowledge to operations managers, technicians, and clients as required.
* Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
* Ensure compliance and maintenance of corporate practices such as forecasting, accruals and billing as required.
* Work with the business development and the Service Line Director team to identify new clients and work opportunities for the service line; communicating directly with business development to inform of potential new opportunities
* Consult with clients before, during and after project and/or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
* Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, and , resources as necessary
* Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
* Answer customers' questions about products, prices, and availability.
* Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
* Must maintain a strong focus on cross functional teamwork with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude internally and externally
* Enforce and abide the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices per company policy.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, company policy and company required maintenance inspections
* Perform all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
* Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment for all staff ensuring all company policies are being followed
* Maintain staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results in partnership with human resources.
* Review, validate, and approve reporting employees' timesheet and reports.

Knowledge and Skills:
* Extensive knowledge of industry standards and NDE methodologies is preferred
* Strong leadership, project management, analytical, problem solving skills and conflict resolution skills, ability to gain consensus through mediation/collaboration.
* Willingness and aptitude to use own discretion in taking appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems; presents options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures. Takes on additional responsibility when both big and small tasks need to be completed.
* Willing to work with others, collaborating and compromising where necessary; promptly share relevant information with others.

* Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
* Knowledge of arithmetic and algebra
* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
* Proficient in public speech for communication to internal and external stakeholders.
* Must have analytical capabilities for customer needs assessment and solutions identification.
* A sense of urgency, good attention to detail, and follow-thru.

* Knowledge of Industry Codes.

* Strong computer skills, specifically excel.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Education and Work Experience:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Bachelor's (BS/BA) in Business or other related discipline preferred.
* Requires ten plus (10+) years of project management and/or operational management experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, in oil and gas prefered.
* Ten (10) years of experience in inspection related activities in the NDT Field / oil and gas service industry.
* Background in handling inspections related to:
* Area of expertise: facilities

Certificates and Licenses:
* NDT Level II certification in 1 or more ANDT methods: Inco, Phased Array, MFL, GUL, PMI, Rotoscan, etc., preferred.
* NDT Level II certification in 1 or more CNDT methods MT, PT, RT, UT, preferred.
* Project Management Professional Certification preferred.
* Lean Certification preferred.
* Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
