Level II UT Shearwave for Acuren Inspection in Birmingham AL location.

The work days are Monday through Friday and the chance of working some Saturdays.

The shifts start early, around 4:30 AM and go to 3:30 P.M.--so 11 hour shifts are normal but have seen 12 and 13 hour shifts at times

The environment is a steel fabrication shop, testing welds on rolled stock for the most part

Adherence to safety rules, not using a cell phone on property, are of paramount importance




Review reports and data provided by technicians working under your supervision for technical accuracy. Provide QC support on projects. Communicate with various customers; especially large accounts. Ensure that you and your team work in a safe and effective manner, following all guidelines established by Acuren, the customer , and good common sense. It is paramount that you work in a safe manner, and provide quality workmanship.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Knowledge
A minimum of five years in a fixed equipment reliability such as piping, pressure vessels, and tanks
Solid NDE background including certification Level II UT Shearwave, Phased Array exp a plus MT, PT
Excellent report writing skills are required
Demonstrated knowledge of business management

Able to contribute effectively to team environment
Specific Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Able to work independently, with minimal supervision
Strong leadership skills,
Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills
Actively search out and implement solutions
