We are seeking LOCAL NDT Assistants to help support our Jacksonville, FL location.

Responsibilities and duties:

Assist Level II NDT Technicians complete inspections at various client sites. You will work closely with other team members and disciplines to gain understanding of projects and tasks as well as policies and guidelines.
◾Set up and break down of equipment
◾Surface Prep
◾Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
◾Organize and report test results
◾Perform specialized inspections
◾Perform other job related tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
◾High School Diploma or equivalent
◾Shop math and print reading skills (some college preferred)
◾Must be willing to train in NDT
◾Ability to use computers for data entry
◾Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
◾Excellent communication skills written and verbal
◾Applicants must complete a drug screen and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
◾Ability to work independently and as part of a team
◾Working overtime as requested
◾Must have strong work ethic
◾Dependable
◾Mechanical Aptitude
◾Exceptional Attention to detail
◾Willingness to travel
◾MUST have a clean driving record and submit to background and drug screening.

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position:
1) Climbing : Ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps and poles
2) Stooping : Bending, Crouching, reaching
3) Standing : Up to 95% of shift
4) Walking : Pushing and Pulling
5) Lifting : In excess of 50 lbs.
