General Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing, planning, directing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the branch. The position is responsible for enforcing policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and personnel. The position reports to the Branch Manager and manages field and on-site supervisors, technicians, and assistant technicians or apprentices.
Essential Job Functions
Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAMs Core Values.
Develops, coordinates and assigns field personnel to perform on-site work per client requirements based on verification of Technician qualifications.
Serves as a subject matter expert (where qualified) and/or coordinates with other subject matter experts to communicate with clients when consulting on special projects or applications.
Provides supervision, guidance and counseling to field and supervisory personnel.
Supports Branch Manager in higher level responsibilities as needed.
Demonstrates professional and customer-oriented communication with clients and associated parties.
Facilitates and coordinates training for field and supervisory personnel as needed.
Ensures proper documentation and is completed for all associated field activities.
Skills:
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelors Degree in management or industry related field preferred.
Two (2) or more years in a supervisory role required.
Three (3) or more years of experience performing duties as a Sr Technician in the applicable service line required.
Must have the ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on shor notice.
Must possess a valid drivers license.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required.
Previous experience working in an ERP system preferred.
Travel requirement: 25% - 50%
Work Conditions
Position is based out of a branch or site location.
Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere
Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel
Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes
May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis
Physical and Mental Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds
Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively
Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to investigations
Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine office duties
Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations
Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
