XCEL NDT has immediate openings for a couple of QUTE Level II UTSW Technicians at our Colorado Office and other office locations. If the applicants are not QUTE certified, they must have performed 5 years of in the field UTSW testing, and will be required to pass an in-house practical examination prior to approval. Any Applicants must be able to provide the following to be considered:
• High School Diploma/GED/Degree
• Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT
• Previous level II certifications/OJT

Skills:
Desired Level II UTSW Tech Skills:
-Minimum of 5 years field experience preferred. Pipeline and refinery experience would be best suited for the available openings.
-Additional Level II certifications held such as MT, PT, RT, VT, CWI, and/or API's would be beneficial.

Physical Requirements:
The overall physical health of any potential candidates should be well enough to allow them to:
-Vision – correctable to at least 20/40.
-Climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolding multiple times per day, utilizing three points of contact.
-Be able to safely carry up to 65 pounds with one hand.
-Be able to work at elevated heights.
-Be able to enter small manways and/or openings.
-Be able to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time (up to eight hour shifts)
