Overview
The Quality Assurance Technician ("Inspector") will work under the direction of the Supervisor of Operations to conduct in house inspections and testing of in-progress and completed work to assure the quality of services and products delivered to customers. This position makes regular inspections and provide detailed reports (including data, images, findings, and recommendations) steel.
Inspections will include visual testing of welding and steel plates evaluations.

Skills:
Qualifications
College degree in a technical field from an accredited program preferred, but not necessary.
NACE, ASME, Inspector, and/or AWS CWI certification preferred entry level or level 1.
Experience with materials and construction testing and quality control procedures; specific experience with steel and/or coatings preferred.
Proficiency with computers and computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to speak clearly and confidently to customers. Must be able to write technical documents using proper style and grammar.
Ability to work standing long period of times some posible conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Hard worker with good commonsense.
This is a 90 Day Contracting Job, at the end of the 90 day period you will have an opportunity to became a full time employee with all the benefits available.
