Job Summary:
The NDT Inspector III shall have the skills and knowledge to establish techniques; to interpret codes, standards, and specifications; designate the particular technique to be used; and to verify the adequacy of procedures. This position will conduct or direct the training and examining of NDT personnel in the method(s) for which the NDT Level III is certified.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Sets up and calibrates equipment.
Conducts tests ensuring that the procedures and specifications are met prior to, during and after x-ray examination including safety aspects of radiography.
Interprets, evaluates, and documents results in accordance with approved procedures.
Organizes and reports nondestructive test results.
Directs the work of NDT Level I and Level II employees.
Supports quality audits including NADCAP certification.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years experience in radiographic operations as a Radiographer. Must be certified to ASNT Level III in RT or CR.

Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and testing
Practical knowledge of quality assurance programs and quality control inspection systems
Ability to effectively perform assigned NDT/NDE radiography tasks and interpret results of inspections
Shop math and print reading skills
Ability to use computers for data entry
Ability to effectively communicate with other departments, and customers to solve problems
Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
Working knowledge of manufacturing process
