Perform some or all of the various methods and techniques typically utilized in Ultrasonic Testing. Flaw Detection and Sizing utilizing Phased Array UT, Shearwave and Longitudinal Wave is required. Also required to perform conventional MT, PT, and UT functions. Perform inspections on a variety of components in the refining, pipeline, power and construction industries.
Essential Job Functions

1. Assist project managers with quoting projects, as needed.

2. Perform Phased Array inspections per codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as required by clients.

3. Work with minimal supervision.

4. Communicate effectively with management, co-workers and clients.

5. Set-up and calibrate Olympus brand inspection equipment.

6. Conduct test with Ultrasonic Testing automated and semi-automated UT Phased Array equipment, as well as the conventional NDT methods, such as MT and PT.

7. Interpret, evaluate, and document results through formal electronic reports.
Skills:
• High school graduate or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be computer literate and be able to create electronic reports
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal required
• Ability to function in a team environment a must
• Must be able to travel out of town or offshore 50% or more of the time
• Must be able to work various shifts
• Requires five (5) plus years’ experience and certification as a Level II Technician in MT, PT and UT
• Omni PC experience required
• TomoView and ESBeam Tool Software experience preferred
• Phased Array experience with Olympus products required
