The Job
Dantec Dynamics Inc. is looking for a Sales and Application Engineer with a working knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) applications and technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a sales strategy, implementing the sales plan and promoting the company's products and services with the goal of attaining a sales target. The Sales and Application Engineer will count on his profound experience in Composites inspection to effectively demonstrate the products to our customers and prospects. In addition to technical knowledge, the Sales and Application Engineer will also be responsible for knowing how to perform, manage and follow-up on the technical sales cycle process. Other duties will include technical application and troubleshooting support to our vast customer base. Since this is an outside sales position, the Sales and Application Engineer will be expected to work remotely and independently and have the flexibility to manage moderate domestic and international travel activity to perform demonstrations and promote product.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies and plans to achieve annual sales budget

Prospecting to identify new business opportunities
Experimental work (testing applications and new products)

On Site Customer demonstrations

Define together with Engineering Department application solutions for key customers

Install and train personnel on the Dantec products at customer facility

Manage and provide support to distributors and reps in territory

Following up on all leads and record progress and status updates in CRM

Timely completion of all periodic sales reports, quotations, calendar events, and opportunity management

Becoming a subject matter expert on the Dantec product portfolio

Document non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, processes, applications or results

Participation in industry conferences and trade shows
Skills:
Qualifications
Bachelor in Material Science or other engineering discipline or equivalent successful sales experience in a nondestructive testing discipline with exposure to the composite industry

Ideal candidate would have experience with either Shearography or Thermography

5 years’ field sales experience in Capital/Industrial Equipment Sales

Ability to work remotely and independently

Located in the central USA with close proximity to a major airport

Strong communication skills and customer-focused

Creative, organized, and strong technical solution finding skills
