Braun Intertec is seeking a driven, organized, and dynamic Operations Manager to lead its Gulf Region NDE Services group. This position is based out of the Greater Houston Gulf Area and will require 30-50% local and regional travel.

Major Accountabilities:
-Planning, budgeting, and operational results
-Recruiting, staffing, training, and resource optimization
-Scheduling, supervision and management of NDE technicians
-Works with NDE Operations Team to Develop Sustainable Growth Strategy
-Relationship building with internal and external customers/clients

Job Duties:
-Recruit, mentor, monitor staff production, quality, safety
-Continually monitors financial performance of the business unit by analyzing current and future unit activities, costs, efficiency of operations, etc. and provides feedback to management on a regular basis.
-Accountable to meet safety requirements and work with others to develop and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the field and office
-Creates and develops a team-centered, growth oriented NDE and project management culture that works collaboratively to obtain planned results
-Manages business acumen and regional growth opportunities
-Achieves staffing goals to meet client work needs and internal resource allocations for Gulf Region offices
-Works with NDE management team on goals, results, resources, planning during weekly and quarterly discussions.
-Manages equipment, including planning, maintenance, strong stewardship, and financial performance
-Assists with the development and implementation of a business development strategy and model that is sustainable and replicable
-Conducts client and project consultant conferences to resolve concerns/questions to plan and coordinate work and develop scope of services.
-Effectively utilizes available resources throughout the organization to identify clients and implement marketing strategies.
-Directs client contracting in the unit and reviews proposals and pricing.
-Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
-Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities
-Demonstrated effectiveness managing teams with multiple reports
-Thinking agility and flexibility -- able to make decisions quickly
-Ability establish relationships with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization and customer organizations
-Ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time

Required Experience:
-Experience with developing client relationships
-Experience with supervising and managing NDE staff
-Seven or more years of relevant NDE experience preferred
-Demonstrated effectiveness building and working with teams
