We are looking for a few corrosion technicians to join our survey crew. This is an entry-level position with the ideal candidate having some education or experience that includes:
• Assisting with CIS, DOC, and Coating Inspections
• Assisting with other inspections including Line of Site Verification, Soils Resistivity Testing, and Water Crossing Survey
• Line Locating, wire picking, or other survey labor activity
• An understanding of cathodic protection
• Performing real-time initial field data analysis
• Documenting field findings
Experience Requirements:
• A certificate or AS in NDE or Corrosion Technology OR 2 years experience assisting with or performing Close Interval Survey is preferred
• Assisting with CIS, DOC, and Coating Inspections
• Assisting with other inspections including Line of Site Verification, Soils Resistivity Testing, and Water Crossing Survey
• Line Locating, wire picking, or other survey labor activity
• An understanding of cathodic protection
• Performing real-time initial field data analysis
• Documenting field findings
Experience Requirements:
• A certificate or AS in NDE or Corrosion Technology OR 2 years experience assisting with or performing Close Interval Survey is preferred
Skills:
• Must have a “can-do”, goal driven attitude. We are looking for team members who are self-motivated and have strong initiative
• Work flexibly as a team member with a willingness to plug-in where needed to meet daily goals and project requirements
• Travel and work in the field for extended periods of time
• Strenuous activity such as hiking, standing, and walking up to 5-10 Miles per day in rough terrain and extreme weather conditions should be expected
• Pass a thorough background screening and drug test
• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Be a legal US Resident
• Have working level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Have effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
