Job Description
The Level III Automated Ultrasonic Technician Auditor’s job duties are as follows, but are not limited to:
Perform routine ultrasonic, eddy current and leak testing examination of materials and weldments in accordance with compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Performs detailed recording of the above inspections.
Perform setup and calibration of equipment in accordance with detailed procedures.
Conduct examinations, analyzes and evaluates test results.
Perform visual inspection of surfaces to be examined to determine suitability for testing.
Prepare detailed test data such as sketches, test reports and reports of inspection to provide documentation of results.
Consult with professional supervisor, relative to test results, on problems associated with inspections performed.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
Qualification Requirements:

Over 250 hours of AUT Auditing experience. Project references will be required;
Able to provide ANST/ACCP Level II UT certification, or documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods of UT;
Valid high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED);
Valid State Driver’s License and able to pass a Motor Vehicle History Evaluation;
Able to pass FBI background verification;
Capable of passing Company Drug/Alcohol, General Physical Fit for Duty requirements.
Preferred:

Contains a current ASNT/ACCP Level III UT certification.

Skills:

Able to meet a flexible work schedule;
Able to meet 100% travel requirements;
Capable of operating with minimal to no supervisory instruction;
Advanced computer skills including Spreadsheet and Word Processing software; and,
Above average organizational skills.
