The Level II Radiographer is responsible for performing inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions
Interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Level II Technicians are familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Assistants and Level I Technicians. Level II Technicians organize data gathered and report the results of the NDT method used.
Required Education and Experience
• Level II RT Certification
• Level II MT, PT, VT Preferred
• Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Programs with strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical Demands
• Occasionally this position may be very active and requires standings, walking, ascending and descending; position self by bending, kneeling stooping, crouching; crawling and climbing all day or at various times of day. At this time the employee may frequently safely lift and transport items over 55 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
o Bending, twisting, crouching
o Prolonged standing
o Climbing fixed and scaffold ladders
o Entering confined spaces through man ways and portholes
o Capable of wearing a full body harness as part of fall protection
o Medically capable of wearing restrictive respiratory protection

Travel
This position requires up to 25% travel. Overnight travel required

Benefits
As a full-time employee, you will be eligible to participate in the Company’s group health insurance plan the first of the month following your hire date. You are also eligible to start accruing forty (40) hours of paid time off (PTO) on a prorated basis after six (6) months of employment. You will be eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) plan after ninety (90) days of service.
