Acuren Bellingham Washington is currently hiring certified SPRAT OR IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technicians
The SPRAT OR IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician is responsible for safety management, work site organization and planning, and the supervision of others performing a variety of work while suspended from ropes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
An SPRAT OR IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician utilizes specialized knowledge of Rope Access Technology to manage the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, to organize work functions specific to rope access jobs and to supervise crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work.
Education and Skills Requirements:
SPRAT OR IRATA Level 3 Certification required
A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience as an SPRAT OR IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
Current first aid certification
A valid drivers' license is preferred
Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
Language of work
English
