Xcel NDT is currently seeking an API Inspector to join our Asset Integrity team in McPherson, KS.
Xcel NDT’s Asset Integrity team is a leading turn-key MI management group that provides technical solutions to customers ensuring asset integrity and reliability, maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing safety risks. Many of our services include non-destructive inspection and materials testing, technical and safety training, engineering and advanced services, supplier auditing, and much more.
This API Inspector will support the asset integrity team by providing all required inspection services supporting all customers throughout the United States.
Duties:
-Perform all API 510/570 related internal/external inspections on a routine basis.
-Maintain compliance based on required annual inspections, coordinate internal inspections, coordinate necessary external support, and facilitate other non-routine activities as needed.
Requirements:
-Must have current API 510 and/or 570 certification. API 653 certification is a plus but not required.
-Must be knowledgeable in midstream/gas plant/NGL type equipment; as well as, refining, chemical, etc.. in the PSM market.
-Knowledgeable in Microsoft office software and various IDMS platforms. ACAD experience is a plus but not required

Skills:
API 510 & 570 required also having your 653 would be a plus! All additional NDT certifications will be beneficial!
