From engineered concept to finished product, Bradken’s Speciality Products business is a leading global manufacturer of innovative, complex engineered castings and fabrications for commercial and military applications. Bradken operates a global network of manufacturing, sales and service facilities employing about 3,000 people worldwide.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Radiographer Level II Associate to join our Speciality Products business at the Tacoma Foundry. The Radiographer Level II will perform production radiography on castings and weldment using radioactive isotopes and high energy X-Ray. This will include:

• Review customer specification requirements within the manufacturing operating system
• Establish and implement radiographic techniques on castings and weldments in accordance with customer specifications
• Review completed radiographs for compliance with techincial specifications and applicable acceptance criteria
• Complete required paperwork to support radiographic inspection and Washington State DOH requirements
• Assist with guidance and training of Radiographer Level I and Trainees

A qualified candidate will have the following qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous or current SNT-TC-1A Level II certification and IRRSP certification required
• Must be able to provide previous exposure records upon request
• Ability to read and understand specifications (i.e. ASME, military, etc.) and develop compliant radiographic techniques and document accordingly
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Radiographer Level II required
