Applied Technical Services Inc. Summary: The Business Development Manager - Houston, TX- will work with our managers to identify and develop new client sales by providing a realistic picture of value that can be realized from professional inspections to capital equipment in the refining and chemical industries. This position will report to the Houston Branch Manager

Qualifications:

X API certifications preferred, but not required
X Develop new accounts by identifying potential clients and organizing sales calls
X Identify client requirements by establishing relationships with potential clients
X Prepare proposals based on discussions with clients, reviewing customer documents, and consulting with inspection managers
X Gain client proposal acceptance by communicating cost and operational benefits associated with using ATS inspection services
X Manage leads through our CRM system
X Maintain professional and technical knowledge and applicable certifications
X Considerable knowledge of Risk Based Inspections
X Sales or Business Development experience in the refining or chemical industries
X Industrial inspection, operations, or maintenance experience

Minimum Requirements

X API certifications preferred, but not required
X Strong oral and written communication skills
X Strong organizational skills
X Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment
X Ability to travel as required
X Solid sales background
X Experience developing sales strategies and developing new business
X Candidates will be drug-free and have a valid drivers license with a good driving record
Education:
Associates Degree or Business Degree in Business Administration or related field
