Canyon State Inspection Inc. (CSI) is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to support our Phoenix, AZ. location. NAS 410 Level II magnetic particle and penetrant certification is required. Formal training in accordance with NAS 410 in eddy current, ultrasonic and radiographic methods is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Level II technician completes various types of NDT inspections both in our facility as well as clients job sites.
Set up and breakdown of equipment
Surface prep
Applying testing criteria in accordance with
applicable specifications or standards and evaluate
results
Organize and report test results
Perform specialized inspections
Perform other job related tasks as assigned
All applicants will be required to pass a federal background check and drug screening
Skills:
Skills Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
NAS 410 Level II Magnetic Particle and Penetrant
certifications
Formal training IAW NAS 410 in Eddy Current,
Ultrasonic, & Radiographic methods
Shop math and reading skills
Must be willing to train in NDT
Ability to use basic computer functions for data
entry
Ability to learn and comply with all company
policies and procedures
Excellent communication skills, both written and
verbal
Applicants must complete a drug screen and have a
valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working overtime as requested
Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated

Mechanical aptitude
Exceptional attention to detail
Willingness to travel
Must be able to meet the following physical demands:
Climbing-ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps
Stooping, bending, crouching, reaching
Standing-up to 95% of shift
Walking, pushing, pulling
Lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
