Certified Welding Inspector with documented classroom hours/OJT for Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Inspection a big plus, but not a requirement. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Job scope will not require travel and therefore no per diem, this is to support a number of long term contracts and it will be a full time position with full benefits available. Candidates will need to commute to Oak Ride Tennessee daily, this may require relocation to Oak Ride or Knoxville area.
Skills:
Candidate will need to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times, and be comfortable communicating directly the with customer. It is important that the candidate be able to review and understand weld procedures, know when and if the procedures require revision or replacement. Also have the ability, with full support of IveyCooper Services, to research applicable Code(s) and help determine what changes are needed. As stated before, experience in MT/PT a big plus, as well as proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office.
