Candidate must have a minimum of 0-2 years of Quality Assurance experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
Candidate must have an active DoD clearance (secret) to be considered for this role.
Candidate should have technical strengths in composite processing, operations and inspection.
Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings, technical specifications and operating procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Primary shift: Monday – Friday 5/8’s (Dayshift), however must be able to work overtime and flexible and changing shift schedules as required by business need.
Must be able to work weekends.


Education / Certification:

High School diploma or Equivalent GED (minimum)
NDT Certification Level 1 or 2 (compensation based on experience and certification level).

Role Description & Responsibilities:

This position is for an entry level non-destructive testing technician with an emphasis on Electromagnetic (ET) testing of composite structures. The testing technician will primarily be responsible for making network analyzer based measurements and operating microwave imaging systems, along with maintaining a laboratory environment and associated equipment. The testing technician will expected to work in close collaboration with the responsible testing engineer and various manufacturing production staff.


Work Location: Clearfield, UT

Locals preferred but will consider relocation.

Skills:
Experience with aerospace specifications, drawings, procedures and non conformance reports as applicable.
Support manufacturing operations in high rate composite production facility.
Perform physical requirement of the position, including handling/positioning of parts as required to perform ET inspections.
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Experience and familiarity with interpretation requirements of composites.
Preferred Experience:

Documented electromagnetic testing (ET) inspection experience
Experience with network analyzers, knowledge of antennas / scattering
Experience with electrical measurements
