Level III NDT – Manager of Radiography Services (Shipbuilding/Power Gen)
JOB SUMMARY:
NIC requires the expertise and experience of an individual with an extensive Nondestructive Testing background with Level III certification in Radiography examination.
We are an established, well respected business in fast growth mode and we’re looking for an individual with experience in the non-destructive testing field who has a desire to work with a group of highly talented individuals to expand our services. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize your key contacts and Radiography expertise to develop new capabilities, market new opportunities and manage projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manage/Develop Capability/Perform Radiography services.
• Technical sales development / Client interface.
• Develop any necessary procedures and programs required for service delivery.
• Work with the leadership team to define and execute growth plans.
• Promote a customer service attitude.
• Represent the company in its dealings with third parties, customers, and audits.
• Extensive travel to field and client sites nationwide as necessary to support projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:
• Subject matter expert in Radiography including Computed radiography
• Extensive experience with CR systems (Carestream/VMI/FUJI/GE).
• Experienced RSO / Radiation Safety Manager.
• Experience with NDE "engineering" for capability development.
• Be a hard-working, flexible, and results-oriented individual willing to roll-up sleeves and pitch-in as needed and have the capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Be intelligent, a self-starter, and possess the energy and drive required to consistently achieve objectives.
• Disciplined and organized with the ability to objectively and thoroughly evaluate opportunities with a bottom line-orientation.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Prefer - NDT management experience – including responsibility and accountability for significant operational functions including service delivery and profit/loss.
