Position Purpose:
* In addition to NDT technical responsibilities, the shift lead provides day-to-day floor instructions towards accomplishing the department's objectives as it relates to Customer Requirements, Safety, Quality, Operational Excellence and Other task assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assigns work on designation shift to employees based on the customer requirements, production schedule and delivery and in line with other assigned task.
* Track operational performance and address shortfalls to achieve business unit results.
* Report performance and attendance issues according to company policies and procedures to supervision.
* Assigns and communicates daily goals for customers and production needs/requirement.
* Support daily throughput requirements based on business unit objectives and address shortfalls accordingly.
* Maintain daily operational reports as required.
* Participate and conduct safety audits as directed to ensure a safe working environment.
* Establish and maintain housekeeping expectations throughout the facility.
* Interface with Customers on a day-by-day basis / as required.
* Adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Maintain appropriate inventory levels (film, tooling and etc.) and communicate shortfalls to Supervision.
* Represents the Company in a professional and ethical manner.
* Maintain Quality Systems on-site.
* Responsible for hiring and training incoming personnel.
* Conduct employee performance evaluations.
* Develop techniques, policies, and procedures as needed.
* Responsible for overseeing Shipping and Receiving logistics.
* General office duties.
* Employee Safety.
* Customer Delivery.
* Quality of Work and Product Shipped.
* Employee Performance, with input from President.
* Employee Development with input from President.
* Maintaining a positive work environment.
* Inventory Control.
* Enforcement of Company policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* Knowledge of MS Office suite.

* Firmly adheres to the values and ethics of X-Ray Industries. Exhibits honesty, discretion, and sound judgment.

Education and Work Experience:
* Must have a minimum high school education/GED.
