Applied Technical Services Inc. Position Summary:Applied Technical Services is currently looking for a fulltime Carded RT Assistants to support our operations in LaPorte, TX.
Responsibilities:
Help conduct Radiographic tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
Participate in ATS and Client safety programs
Travel to customers industrial or construction work sites
Complete reports and documentation as required.
Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment
Calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
Interpret radiographs
Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements
State Card or IRRSP Card required.
Must be willing and able to work at heights, confined spaces, outdoors and in labs, manufacturing and industrial sites.
Must be willing and able to travel, work odd hours, work over time, work varying hours and a varying schedule.
Must have good communication skills and be computer literate.
Must be drug free and have a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
Knowledge of NDT equipment
