Depending on Qualifications and Certifications typical pay range for a Level II at NWII Certified in RT MT PT is $60K – $130K per year.
The Level II Radiographers are responsible for, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
• Perform Level II RT inspections & other NDE inspections as specified
• Set up & calibrate testing equipment & materials
• Calculate, establish & control radiation area
• Responsible for production quality radiographs, fluent in manual film processing, & code interpretation
• Level II must be capable in interpreting welds made from various processes according to but not limited to: ASME, ANSI, API, & AWS codes
• Able to meet travel expectations & working weekends
• Able to communicate with customers on a daily basis
• Current Level II Radiography certification; Valid State Radiographer’s card or IRRSP card
• Valid U.S driver’s license & able to provide drivers abstract report
• Able to pass FBI background verification in accordance with NWII’s Increased Control program
• Capable of passing Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty Tests, for DOT and Federal jobs.
• Capable of passing NWII’s Level II Radiographer certification process
Preferred
• Documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceed SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods of MT, PT, RT,
• Successful passing NWII’s Level II MT, PT, RT, certification process
• High School Diploma, GED, & /or advanced education
• Strong work ethic, & dependable
• Exceptional safety & quality awareness
• Mechanical inclined/ knowledge of NDT equipment
• Adaptable to changing schedules, long hours, & travel
• Ability to follow direction & procedures
• Excellent customer & employer communication skills
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Course & Certificate, Current State or IRRSP Card
• Basic computer skills

• Proficient in problem solving & above average in basic math calculations

• Knowledgeable with OSHA’s General & Construction safety industries

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
• Standing, walking, sitting lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, talking, hearing, visual acuity
• Moving, carrying, lifting objects in excess of 75 lbs.
• Climbing and working off ladders, stairs, scaffolding, & trenches
• Working in confined spaces
