GeoTek Engineering & Testing Services, Inc. is seeking to add a full-time Nondestructive Testing Technician. Responsibilities include but not limited to
Nondestructive testing of welds utilizing Visual (VT), Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT) and Dye Penetrant (PT) methods.
Performing quality control testing during construction of buildings and other structures in the field and laboratory.
May include sampling and testing of soils, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, masonry and steel construction materials in accordance with project specifications and recognized standards.
Reading and reviewing construction documents (plans & specifications).
Communicating with clients and contractors on job sites.
Serious inquiry from applicants with a CWI, NDT Level I/II, Associates Degree and/or 2-3 years of experience in nondestructive testing.

AWS Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) and/or Level I/II NDT (UT/PT/MT) Certification
Ability to work at elevated heights, regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform duties in outside weather conditions including extreme cold and heat/humidity.
Strong math, verbal and writing skills.
Current valid drivers license.
Overnight travel may be required with position.
Motivated and willing to learn and be challenged.
