Summary: ATS is seeking a Resident API 653/510 to support our Savannah, GA office with work located in Brunswick, GA.  LOCAL Candidates and those qualified and able to relocate to Brunswick, GA.  This is a project management/resident position.  Job duties will consist of Project management, API 653/510 field inspections-reporting-recommendations-repair plans-scheduling, and very knowledgeable of Tanks/Pressure/Piping inspections. Relo assistance available to the right candidate.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

Performs field inspections of tanks, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, and ensures quality control and compliance.
Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components.
Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.
Process improvement experience.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD.
Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment.
Performs field inspections of tanks, pressure vessels, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, and ensures quality control and compliance.
Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and other components.
Plant engineering or steel fabrication experience.
Industrial inspection, operations and maintenance experience.
Process improvement experience.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results.
Skills:
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Current API 653 AND API 510 Certification.
Additional NDT Certifications are desirable but not required.
Must be willing and able to work in Brunswick, GA on this permanent job out of ATS Savannah.
This roll would be for someone knowledgeable within the Pulp and Paper Industry. Additional NDT certifications are a plus.

Work Conditions:

Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc. 
Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc. 
Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments. 
Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
