Position Summary: The NDI Quality Manager functions as a vital part of the QA Department in maintaining ATS’ accreditations, certifications, and approval on customers’ approved supplier lists. The NDI Quality Manager demonstrates objectivity, critical thinking, good business acumen, strong communication skills, and effective interpersonal skills while representing ATS and the QA Department to internal and external customers.  The NDI Quality Manager will work from ATS HQ and travel to all ATS offices in performance of their duties.

Responsibilities:

Assist QA Director in maintaining the existing NDI accreditations and certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 17025, AS9100, and the 10CFR50 Appendix B Program.
Assist the QA Director in planning and implementation of continuous improvement projects to assist NDI operations in more efficient quality processes.
Ensure a high level of NDI internal and external customer service.
Report to the QA Director on internal and external audits of NDI processes, systems, projects and/or sites based on a directed or a for-cause basis within established timelines.
Function as the primary contact for NDI QA audits by clients and agencies and in responding to any subsequent issues.
Interact with vendors (conduct source audits as needed) to ensure quality of purchased materials and services.
Plan corrective and preventive actions with appropriate NDI manager(s) to address audit findings.
Ensuring that NDI customer issues and complaints relating to quality are investigated and corrected.
Follow-up on NDI major and critical audit findings to ensure that appropriate actions have been taken and adequately resolved the issues identified.
Maintain a basic knowledge of current applicable quality regulations, NDI methods, quality guidelines, and related auditing techniques appropriate to NDI services.
Cross Train to become proficient with entire QA System
Perform additional duties as instructed by the QA Director
Skills:
Requirements:

Minimum of three years’ experience in Quality Systems administration.
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.
A two-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field preferred.
Experience in NDI methodologies.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with MS Office and SharePoint.
Familiarity/knowledge of NDI methodologies including MT, PT, VT, UT, and RT.
Basic knowledge of applicable quality assurance processes and procedures (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, AS9100, CP-189, ASNT-TC-1A, 10CFR50 Appendix B, NQA-1, ISO 9712, 10CFR21).
Qualify as an ATS Lead Auditor.
Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, clients, and auditors.
Hands-on, team-oriented philosophy with commitment to business improvement processes.
Ability to travel 40% - 60% of the time to NDI locations as needed.
Regular and consistent attendance.
Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
