Krazan & Associates, Inc… is looking for a full-time NDT Inspector/Technician for the Poulsbo, Washington office.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction testing experience for a geotechnical engineering or materials testing company.

American Welding Society – Certified Welding Inspector a plus, but not required. Good communication skills, report writing and the ability to work in a team atmosphere is required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all inspection functions to the requirements of
ASNT SNT TC-1A for a UT Level II
• Perform Visual and Ultrasonic Weld Inspections to the
requirements of AWS D1
• Develop and deliver inspection solutions
• Lead the department in development in operational
improvements and optimization of NDE inspections.

American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level II certification in the following a PLUS:

• Visual Testing (VT)
• Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
• Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
• Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

(Hourly rate will vary depending on quantity and type of certification).

For your safety, keep this in mind: You need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time, walk on uneven ground, perform work inside areas of varying dimensions; work outdoors under varying temperatures and weather conditions; occasionally lift and/or move 50 lbs. You will be expected to work safely during all phases of performing the job duties by following all regulations, and safety procedures and employment policies. You must have and maintain a good driving record and be insurable under our company vehicle policy.
