NIC is seeking a Level III RT for a Long-term assignment on the East Coast.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but not limited to:
1. Reviewing supplier film for procedure qualification reports, shooting sketches for castings, and various other radiography assessments.
2. Evaluate and ensure vendor compliance with fabrication ad NDT Submarine specification requirements.
3. Provide technical guidance, expertise and problem resolution for material suppliers.
4. Prepare technical reports as result of ISA findings, research and development, and problem resolution investigations.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. HS Diploma/GED or equivalent
2. Level III RT w/minimum of 5 yrs. experience as a Level II
3. Experience in shipbuilding environment or other heavy fabrications
4. Must be familiar with Military Specifications (NAVSEA)
