We are searching for unique individuals who are self-directed, customer service driven professionals, and have the interest in combining their nondestructive testing/consulting experience to join our elite team of instructor ET, UT/ PAUT at Hellier NDT.
This position requires extensive classroom contact including the development, revision and teaching a range of technical and non-technical topics.
This position will be the primary ET and/or UT/PAUT instructor, including supplemental testing methods like TOFD. Exam proctoring will also be responsibility for this position. A deep knowledge of the ET and/or UT NDT method and other core NDT testing methods is a plus. 3rd party credentials, such as ASNT, BINDT PCN, API or other certifications is a plus but not a requirement.
Responsibilities
FULL TIME POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be the primary UT/PAUT instructor, including supplemental testing methods like TOFD. Exam proctoring will also be responsibility for this position. A deep knowledge of the UT NDT method and other core NDT testing methods is a plus.
3rd party credentials, such as ASNT, BINDT PCN, API or other certifications is a plus but not a requirement.
Certification in ET and/or UT and Phased Array for at least 5+ years is a must, and pay is contingent upon experience and willingness to grow method knowledge base.
Some travel will be involved for on-site / remote instruction. In addition to base responsibilities, there will be an opportunity for this position to act as a client consultant earning additional compensation.
Ability to interact with clients and speak knowledgably over NDT is a must.
Requirements
Level II UT Certification and PAUT Certification is required
Level III certification in at least one of the following NDT methodologies: is a plus
Experience with Qualification and certification standards like SNT-TC-1A and NAS 410
Proficient with computer applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Prior involvement in the development of classroom curriculum and outlines is desirable, and experience as an instructor is a plus.
Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
