Acuren has an exciting opportunity to advance your career as a Drone Project Manager focused on inspection, safety and quality supporting our Unmanned Inspection operations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager has overall responsibility for the operations of Acuren at the customer site. This includes but is not limited to compliance (safety, QA, ). The PM will oversee and provide direction for all Acuren crews working onsite.
Responsibilities:
Perform specialized drone inspections at customer sites
Organize and report inspection results
Instruct and supervise others
Interface daily with the client about work priorities and progress of projects
Handle project scheduling and execution
Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions
Ensure employees a have the tools and training to perform their jobs proficiently
Site safety management
Participate in performance management of employees
Skills:
Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience, UAV Operator experience with verifiable flight time – fixed wing, rotor, or multirotor.
Previous leadership experience an asset
Current FAA Part 107 certificate
Experience in confined space inspections, oil and gas, LiDAR, and utility infrastructure inspections
Experience with a wide variety of sensors, (LiDAR, EO/IR Cameras, and Multi/Hyperspectral)
Ability pass hair follicle drug screening and federal background check
Experience with GIS/CAD based databases a plus
NDT experience highly desired.
