NIC has an opportunity for NDE Level II UT Contact/Immersion Technicians for long term opportunities in Cleveland, Ohio.
In this role, you will perform Immersion Ultrasonic testing using automated UT equipment in accordance with industry and customer specifications, to ensure the quality or detect defects in test pieces. You will set up; utilize and calibrate IUT test equipment, interpret codes and specifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. HS Diploma/GED or equivalent is required
2. Minimum 80 hours of UT Training
3. Documented experience hours (OJT)
4. Must have at least 2 years of NDE experience in the Oil and Gas or Aerospace Industries
5. Must have the ability to work without supervision
6. Must have the ability to also work in a team environment and have the ability to collaborate with personnel in order to complete projects on time.
7. Must be capable of analyzing C-scan data and A-scan presentations.
