MME Testing prides itself on having great relationships with our clients. We are in northeast metro Atlanta area. Currently we are growing to meet the demands of industry. This position requires a qualified individual to perform RT testing as required. Position will report directly to the Company’s NDT Manager. Minimal travel required, couple days at a time.
Position Overview
An NDT Level II RT Inspector at MME Testing will support the inspections on various types of airplanes and internal weld inspections at the office. We have in house and local work for UT Shear-wave, Phased Array/MT/PT/CWI/VT
Radiographic Testing:
Perform radiographic inspections on welded and non-welded components using X-ray equipment only.
Ensure inspections are conducted in accordance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Interpret radiographic images to detect and evaluate defects such as cracks, voids, inclusions, corrosion, and discontinuities.
Determine acceptance or rejection of components based on established criteria.
Generate detailed inspection reports that include radiographic images, defect locations, sizes, and classifications.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, certifications, and compliance documentation.
Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Skills:
Qualifications:
Certification as an NDT Level II Inspector in Radiographic Testing (RT) in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, NAS410, ASNT or equivalent standards.
A minimum of 2 years of experience performing radiographic inspections in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a preference for experience in aerospace
Strong knowledge of radiographic testing principles, techniques, and equipment operation.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASTM, ASME, and AWS.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform precise inspections consistently.
