National Inspection & Consultants (NIC) is seeking Qualified Level II MT/VT inspectors for a long term project in the VA Beach area.
Responsibilities:
Perform MT and VT of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards and specifications.
** Technicians with NAVSEA or shipyard work experience is preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
MUST meet the minimum requirements of Level II MT/VT Technician and provide supporting documentation to include:
1. Copies of training hours (classroom)
2. Copies of experience hours (OJT)
3. Copies of certifications (current and/or previously held)
4. Copy of a HS diploma/GED or equivalent.
5. Must be able to pass a stringent background check
6. Must pass a drug screen
7. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
NOTE: A requirement of this position is access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations ("ITAR"). Accordingly, the company will consider only "U.S. Persons" for this position.
