Element has an opportunity for a certified NDT Ultrasonic Level II Inspector (Immersion) to perform immersion ultrasonic inspections on aerospace components in accordance with applicable specifications, procedures, and customer requirements. The Level II Inspector will be responsible for setup, calibration, and operation of immersion ultrasonic equipment, selection of appropriate techniques, and interpretation and evaluation of inspection results to determine conformance and detect discontinuities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge of ultrasonic theory, transducer selection, sound beam characteristics, and immersion system operation, as well as familiarity with aerospace materials and manufacturing processes. The position requires strict adherence to approved NDT procedures, safety standards, and quality system requirements under NAS 410 or equivalent certification standards.
Team Environment:
The Level II Inspector will operate as part of a dedicated inspection cell team, collaborating closely with other inspectors, technicians, and production personnel to ensure efficient workflow, consistent quality, and timely delivery of inspected components. This team-based structure promotes cross-functional support, shared accountability, and continuous improvement within the inspection cell.

Must hold a current Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in accordance with NAS 410, SNT-TC-1A, or equivalent aerospace certification standard, with demonstrated proficiency in immersion ultrasonic inspection techniques.
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience performing UT immersion inspections on aerospace or similarly critical components.
Strong understanding of ultrasonic theory, sound beam physics, transducer selection, focal laws, and data interpretation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical procedures related to NDT inspection.
Proficient in documentation and digital data recording systems used for inspection traceability and quality compliance.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a cell team environment, maintaining communication and collaboration with peers, leads, and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and consistent inspection quality.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, maintaining compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
