Level II’s, as defined by the Quality Control Council of The United States National Non-Destructive Testing Agreement, Article 6, Job Classifications and as applicable to McNDT Pipeline, Ltd.

A NDT Level II is responsible for leading daily operations with assigned equipment and personnel, as well as ensuring individual compliance with company, regulatory, industry or other applicable requirements, and for all assigned personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform and supervise NDT, radioactive operations, and other tasks as certified and directed by Management

Communicate scheduling needs and changes with the Operations Manager

Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment including company equipment such as work vehicles, office spaces, and shop areas

Report abnormal operating conditions to management, customers, the RSO, or local authorities as applicable

Complete inventory, documentation, and other paperwork as required

Ensure on-site customer satisfaction, or take appropriate steps to rectify situations

Produce quality deliverables including radiographs, reports, and others

Communicate need for assistance from Operations and/or Quality Manager

Participate in company initiatives including continuous improvement and McNDT directives

Train assigned personnel

Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude

Comply with all current and future company procedures and requirements

Authorities

Stop work in any unsafe working condition, or when a safety concern is foreseen and to immediately report all stop work actions to appropriate personnel

Accept/reject as certified and based on applicable standards
Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Current Level II, or ability to immediately obtain, certification in applicable NDT Method

Current Industrial Radiographer Certification Card from Illinois or a state reciprocal to Illinois
Skills:
Current Level II, or ability to immediately obtain, certification in applicable NDT Method
