The NDT Weekend Supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost‑effective manufacture of company products during the weekend night shift. This role provides leadership to production and inspection teams, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintains smooth operations across assigned functions or shifts. The supervisor plays a key role in meeting production goals while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
Education & Experience
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional vocational training or certification preferred
Equivalent background with a minimum of two (2) years of casting operations experience considered
Core Responsibilities
Ensure the safe manufacture of company products across a broad range of manufacturing processes
Meet all quality, productivity, and cost objectives
Supervise multiple functions and/or shifts, often through shift or department leads
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Specific Duties
Provide effective supervision, leadership, and coaching to assigned employees to achieve quality and production goals
Maintain department records, documentation, and inventories
Manage product flow through the production area and maintain awareness of product status at all times
Ensure standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate, and followed
Monitor and enforce the Operations safety program and ensure regulatory compliance
Maintain and promote high standards of housekeeping
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of production processes and materials
Resolve technical, operational, and personnel issues in a timely and cost‑effective manner
Schedule employees to meet production demands while aligning with vacation and time‑off policies
Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
Organize work to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Communicate plant updates, expectations, and changes to employees
Serve as the shift‑to‑shift communication link to ensure alignment across teams
Foster and maintain a positive work atmosphere
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Area Manager

Skills:
Work Experience
Preferred 1–3 years of industrial supervisory or leadership experience
Minimum 1 year of experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment

Proven dependability with a strong attendance record
Flexibility to work assigned hours and adapt to operational needs
Strong sense of urgency with the ability to work independently
