Acuren is currently recruiting for Rope Access III to support our operation in Bellingham, WA. The successful candidate will join our mechanical team, contributing to a variety of hands-on maintenance and repair activities in support of facility operations. Experience with turning valves, insulation work and repairing steam piping/tracing is a plus.

We are currently seeking local candidates based in Bellingham, Washington or the surrounding area. While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, local availability or a willingness to relocate is preferred due to the nature of this role.

Responsibilities
Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
Be conversant with relevant work techniques
Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level III
Assist other technicians as required
Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Skills:
IRATA Level 3 Certification required
Serve as a member of the mechanical team, performing a variety of hands-on maintenance and operational tasks.

Demonstrated experience operating and adjusting valves and related mechanical equipment.

Proficiency in insulation installation, removal, and repair.

Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing steam piping systems and heat tracing.

Ability to work safely and effectively in an industrial or plant environment.

A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
Current first aid certification
A valid drivers' license is preferred
Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
Experience with turning valves, insulation work and repairing steam piping/tracing is a plus.

Pay Transparency: As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $34.75-$57.91 an hour depending on experience and applicable certification.
