Level II MT/PT/VT Technicians
📍 Ladson, South Carolina | Long-Term NAVSEA Project
National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is ACTIVELY HIRING experienced Level II MT/PT/VT Technicians for ongoing NAVSEA-related work in Ladson, SC.
We are looking for technicians who can step in immediately and go to work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Perform inspections on structural welds in accordance with NAVSEA codes and standards
✔ Conduct Magnetic Particle (MT), Penetrant (PT), and Visual (VT) testing
✔ Identify, evaluate, and document weld discontinuities
✔ Maintain accurate inspection records and reports
✔ Follow strict quality and safety protocols in a production environment
Requirements – NO EXCEPTIONS
✔ Current Level II Certifications in MT, PT, and VT
✔ 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction environments
✔ Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and construction techniques
✔ Documented classroom training hours (REQUIRED)
✔ Documented OJT hours (REQUIRED)
✔ 3+ years NAVSEA project experience
✔ Ability to pass a stringent background screening
