Skills:
The Level II Digital Radiographer is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job descriptions:
*Perform Level II DR inspections and other NDE inspections as specified with the Company’s procedures.
*Operate and maintain Digital Radiography equipment, software, and hardware as per company requirements and manufacturer’s recommendations.
*Calculate, establish, and control the radiation area.
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
*Evaluate and interpret product results to the code of construction or customer specifications.
*Organize and report test results.
*Responsible for producing quality radiographs.
*Able to meet travel expectations.
*Capable of managing long term projects.
*Communicating with customer/client representatives on daily basis.
*Responsible for returning a completed product in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
*Required to establish and manage all safety procedures and functions throughout a project.
*Able to train assistants efficiently in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures and NVI, LLC’s SNT-TC-1A written practice.
*Effective at meeting deadlines set forth by management or clientele.
*Maintain and promote a positive attitude while on projects.
*Any other assignment necessary to meet Level II responsibilities set forth by the Company.
