National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is hiring experienced Level II MT/VT Technicians for ongoing NAVSEA work.
We are looking for technicians who are ready to mobilize and go to work: Start Date 04/13/2026
Position Overview:
1. Perform inspections on structural welds in accordance with NAVSEA codes and standards
2. Utilize Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Visual Weld Testing (VT)
3. Identify and evaluate weld discontinuities
4. Accurately document and report inspection results
5. Maintain strict adherence to quality and safety protocols
Requirements:
1. Current Level II MT & VT Certification
2. Documented classroom training hours
3. Documented OJT experience hours
4. Ability to pass a stringent background screening
5. NAVSEA experience preferred — but strong MT/VT backgrounds will be considered
