Acuren is currently recruiting for experienced API 510/570/653 Inspectors who are interested in expanding their skillset into commissioning/construction verification work.

This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a different type of field work, focused on reviewing drawings, verifying installations, and supporting system testing across mechanical, electrical, and piping systems.

What the Work Involves:
-Reviewing construction drawings and specifications
-Verifying that systems are installed by design and guidelines
-Observing and supporting testing and commissioning activities – providing observation reports and documentation and uploading them into a cloud-based software database
-Working with systems such as:
-Electrical systems & power distribution
-Emergency generators
-Piping, tanks, and pressure vessels
-Fuel oil and mechanical systems
-HVAC and cooling systems
-Coordinating with project teams, contractors, and engineers on-site


-Project Locations: Ellendale, ND & Fargo, ND
-Schedule: Currently 5x10’s, ramping up to 6x10’s or 6x12’s
-Rotation: -2 weeks on / 1 week off OR can extend to a longer rotation schedule based on employees’ preference

-Travel & Pay:
-Paid 8 hours travel for each rotation
-If working 12 hours/day for 7 days, the 8th day is a mandatory paid fatigue day
-Per diem: $75/day (meals & incidentals) - Employees will book their own flights, hotels, and rental cars and submit them for reimbursement
-Start Timing: Targeting mid-May
-Duration: Contracted through the end of 2026 & into 1st quarter of 2027

What We’re Looking For:
-Strong inspection background with ability to read and interpret drawings/specs
-Experience working in industrial or construction environments
-Good communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams
-Interest in learning system-level verification and commissioning processes
