Responsibilities

-Interpret film & digital radiographs
-Perform process control checks & statistical process monitoring
-Write & approve procedures and work instructions
-Design, prototype, and implement nondestructive sensor systems to solve manufacturing quality problems
-Prototype early inspection development and bench-top validation to reduce risk for new technologies
-Interface with vendors, tooling and automation groups to define requirements, manage projects through to delivery
-Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions
-Understand and debug hardware and software interactions during design, launch, and deployment
-Use field data to improve design and performance of NDE systems

Core Competencies
-ASNT RT III
-High school diploma or equivalency certificate
-+5 years NDT Experience
-Previously Certified Film Radiography in accordance with: NAS 410
-Works autonymously
-Good written, oral, and presentation skills
-Experience training NDT assistants
-Proficiency with different NDT data acquisition softwares
-Expertise interpreting 2D engineering drawings and model drawings
-High competence with Industry Standards
ASTM, ASME, AWS, etc..

Preferred Skills

-Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, physics, or computer science
-6+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience
-Previously Certified CR/DR in accordance with: NAS 410
-Advanced Manufacturing Experience
-Castings
-EB Welds
-Explosion Bonding
-Composites
-Laser Welding
-Powder Metallurgy
-Knowledge of a variety of NDE techniques such as ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, digital radiography testing, etc.
-Knowledge of industrial automation
-Experience with software and automation coding (Labview, -Python, C#, SQL)
-Experience with POD Studies
-Knowledge of Statistical Process Controls
-Experience with root cause analysis
-Familiarity with JIRA or similar task/feature tracking systems
-Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/AS9100/NADCAP)

Additional Requirements

-Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends to meet critical deadlines when/if needed
-Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run
-Must be willing and able to travel to customer sites on an as needed basis, ~75% travel required.

Itar Requirements

-To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.
-1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.
