Sullivan & Associates, Inc. (S/A) is currently recruiting veterans who are transitioning from military careers to the civilian sector, as well as civilian NDT specialists. S/A needs highly skilled non-destructive testing inspectors with a strong background in Ultrasonic (shear-wave) and/or Radiographic (Gamma) and X-ray inspections with Level II certifications IAW ASNT-SNT TC 1A and NAVSEA documents.
Position: Perform visual, magnetic particle, dye penetrant and ultrasonic examinations in accordance with written procedures. Testing and inspection of components will be performed at various stages of the production process in compliance with applicable codes, standards, or other specified DoD requirements. Compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. This position is not an assembly-line, nor a part-time job. Sullivan & Associates Inc., located in Ladson, SC has immediate openings for competent full-time NDT inspectors with a minimum of 2 years' experience. Applicants with a US Military background and experience are a plus.
The applicant should have at least the following certifications:
Level II in VT, PT, MT
Level II in UT and RT is a premium position
Level II applicants in RT must have extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of the method and possess a State Certified Radiation Safety Identification Card.
Individuals with API 510, 570, 653, or CWI certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have a valid Driver's License and will be subjected to a pre-employment minimum 10-panel drug screen.
Wages will be based on certifications held, and range between $35.00 - $50.00 per hour.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
• Carrying and lifting objects up to 65 lbs.
• Climbing and working off of ladders, stairs, and scaffolding at elevated heights

• Work in and near industrial hazards
• Ability to work in confined spaces
Required Education/Experience/Certificates and Licenses:
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience in X-ray/Gamma Radiography required.
• Pass a Jaeger 1 and Brightness Discrimination eye exam
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Drug and alcohol screens performed randomly
