National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is currently seeking qualified Level II MT/PT/VT Technicians for a long-term, ongoing assignment in the Virginia Beach, VA area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable project supporting critical naval programs with long-term work potential.
🔹 Location: Virginia Beach Area, VA
🔹 Duration: Long-Term / Ongoing Assignment
🔹 Industry: Naval Shipbuilding & Repair
Responsibilities
✔ Perform Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Visual Testing (VT) inspections on structural welds and related components.
✔ Conduct inspections in accordance with NAVSEA procedures, specifications, and quality requirements.
✔ Accurately document inspection results and maintain required records.
✔ Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
✔ Current or previous Level II MT/PT/VT certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
✔ Documented classroom training and OJT experience hours available for review.
✔ Experience performing weld inspections.
✔ Ability to meet shipyard badging and access requirements.
✔ NAVSEA or shipyard experience is highly preferred.
