Summary:
The NDT Level 3 is to support and assist the Responsible NDT Level 3 with activities on the shop floor and in the office. The NDT Level 3 assures that the technical aspect of specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements are interpreted, followed, and performed correctly on the shop floor for current NDT techniques including Ultrasonic and Penetrant. Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
Candidate must be capable of meeting the requirements and being certified to NAS 410 as an Ultrasonic or Penetrant Level 3 (Any of the below will qualify and meet NAS 410 requirements):
· Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering and at least 1 year documented experience as an NAS 410 certified Ultrasonic or Penetrant Level 2 or
· Associates degree in science or engineering and at least 2 years documented experience as an NAS 410 certified Ultrasonic or Penetrant Level 2 or
· Appropriate education and at least 4+ years documented experience as a NAS 410 certified Ultrasonic and Penetrant Level 2

Set up, operate, and break down NDT equipment
Prepare surfaces for inspection and testing
Perform inspections in accordance with applicable codes, specifications, and standards
Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results
Prepare accurate and organized inspection reports
Conduct specialized NDT inspections as required
