National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is actively seeking experienced Level II MT/PT/VT Technicians to support ongoing NAVSEA work in Virginia.
POSITION DETAILS
Location: Virginia
Duration: Long-Term 12+ Months
Industry: Naval / Shipbuilding / Defense
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Visual (VT) inspections on structural welds in accordance with NAVSEA requirements
Work effectively in a shipyard/NAVSEA environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current ASNT Level II MT, PT & VT certifications
Documented classroom training and OJT/experience hours
Ability to successfully complete a stringent background screening
Current and valid Drivers License
NAVSEA/shipyard experience strongly preferred
