General Description:
Utilizes non-destructive testing (NDT) instructions and procedures; interprets codes, standards, and specifications; selects test methods, techniques, and procedures. Operates industrial ultrasonic and radiographic test equipment and interprets inspection results to determine if acceptable. Prepares inspection reports, documents inspection results and maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.



Work experience requirements:
• At least 2 years experience in ultrasonic inspection and x-ray inspection
• Experience in aerospace components preferred
• Other NDT methods a plus
Education Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Formal 80 hour classroom training in Radiography
• Formal 80 hour classroom training in Ultrasonics
• Formal 40 hour Radiation Safety Course and Texas Industrial Radiographer Certification
