Perform Heat Treatment processes used in the manufacturing of Turbine Engine components. Be proficient in heat treat process, such as but not limited to- stress relief, solution anneal and age treatment. Be proficient in indentifying pre-mixed braze alloys. Be proficient in mixing powered braze alloy filler with binder. Be proficient in the operation and programming of equipment such as but not limited to vacuum furnacde, bell furnace, hardness tester and braze applicator.Testing materials using Rockwell machines. Conduct uniformity surveys, take dew point checks of hydrogen and argon atmospheres. Know general equipment maintanence such as, changing oil, greasing motors, replacing thermal couples, heating elements,pumps, and performing minor repairs. Knowledge of forklift is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent of 5 years of related industry experience. Knowledge of liquid and solid temperatures of alloys and the temperature required to harden and draw tool steels. Familiar with the Rockwell standard and the superficial hardness machine
